Alhaji Hassan Arogundade,Ilobu MicroFinance Bank Chairman,hails from Ilobu,Irepodun Local Government,Osun State,Nigeria.He had his secondary education at Sapele Academy Secondary School between 1950 and 1954.He completed Final Certificate of Chartered Institute of Secretaries at City London College in 1965.At Harrow Technical College, Harrow Middx he completed Final Certificate of Association of Certified Chartered Accountants.

Alhaji Hassan Arogundade was a Clerk with John Holt & Co. Ltd from 1950-1954.He rose to the Position of Assistant Book-keeper before he resigned for further Studies in the United Kingdom. He was employed as Senior Clerk by Adhesive Tapes Limited (Manufacturers of Seelotape Products) in Borehamwood England from 1963-1970.He was Promoted as Accountant in 1979.

He was the Chief Accountant of Coast Timber Group of Companies of King’s Street, London from 1970-1972 and transferred to Lagos office, late 1972.

Alhaji Hassan Arogundade was Chief Accountant of International Paint of West Africa Limited, Lagos from 1973-Jan 1974. He was also Chief Accountant of International Bank of West Africa Limited, Lagos from 1974-1977.He was Promoted Deputy Administrative Manager from 1977-1979,Administrative Manager from 1979-1980 ,Deputy General Manager (Finance) from 1980-1986, General Manager 1986-1988 and Deputy Managing Director, Trans International Bank Plc from Sep 1988-14th Feb 1990.

Alhaji Hassan Arogundade was appointed Director, National Bank of Nigeria, Express Discount Limited and Refuge Insurance Limited in 1991.He was later appointed Chairman, Express Discount Limited from 1996-1999 .

Alhaji Hassan Arogundade is a member of many professional body.He obtained Associate Member of Chartered Accountants (ACCA) in 1970.He Obtained Associate Member of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ACA) in 1972.He was exempted from 1 and 2 subjects in Part II and passed Monetary Theory and practice of the Chartered Institute of Bankers Exams (ACIB) in 1976. He obtained Fellow of Association of Certified Chartered Accountants (FCCA),Fellow Chartered Institute of Bankers (FCIB) and Fellow of Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (FCA) in 1979,1980 and 1987 respectively. He was Council Member, Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria from 1985-1987.He is a Member, Nigerian Institute of Management.
